frames for a fun diorama effect.

  • Stamps: Lawn Fawn Critters on Savannah (set of 14),
    Blue Skies (set of 16), Bannerifi c (set of 7)

  • Card: white

  • Ink pads: Memento tuxedo black; Distress Inks salty
    ocean, shabby shatters

    • Paper: wood-grain

    • Markers: Copics; Atyou Spica glitter pen clear

    • Tools: craft knife, sponge

    • Adhesives: double-sided tape, mounting tape




MATERIALS FOR ALL CARDS


METHOD
1 Sponge salty ocean ink at the top and shabby shutters at the bottom
of white card 90mm x 70mm and blend them lightly in the middle.
2 Stamp two rows of Critters on Savannah grass – at the bottom and
20mm from the bottom – and a single cluster above these on the
middle left-hand side using black ink.
3 Stamp three birds, a lion, a rock and a tree from the Critters on
Savannah set, plus three Blue Skies clouds and a row of Bannerific
pennants on white card with black ink. Colour them all in with marker
and cut them out.
4 Secure the tree in the middle of the sponged piece then add one
cloud, the birds and the rock with double-sided tape. Add the lionand
remaining clouds with mounting tape.
5 Cut a 90mm x 70mm window out of wood-grain paper 135mm x
100mm with a scalpel, starting 15mm from the top.
6 Affi x this and the scene to folded white card 280mm x 110mm using
mounting tape for the frame. Add the pennants at the top with
double-sided tape.
7 Stamp a Critters on Savannah sentiment on white card, cut it out in a
banner shape and secure it along the bottom with mounting tape. Stamp grass in patches,
staggering them through the
design to give it depth.
