Spring’s sprung
After a looong winter, we're craving
some pretty flowers—besides the cro-
cuses and daffodils popping out this
month. So we asked Cindy Haas, floral
artist at Newberry Brothers, to
work her magic. Her spring bouquet,
containing garden roses, peonies, tu-
lips, Japanese sweet peas, and anem-
ones, sitting amid trick dianthus and
lily grass, is just the ticket. Want to
create one yourself? Start by making a
grid out of the foliage, add freshly cut,
thickly stemmed blooms, follow with
softer stems, and don't forget to add
one drop of bleach to the water.
