waterproofwiththeGore-Texlaminated

intotheshell.TheRallyesuithasa

removableGore-Texlinerwhichisagreat

optionintheheatbecauseGore-Texis

windproofanddoesn’tbreathemuch.

Klimrunsalotofventstocompensate

forthelackofbreathabilitybutthe

RallyesuitIworeforthislaunchis

amazingwith 38 degreesondaytwoand

14 ondaythree.Iwascertainlyhotbutit

wasbearablecomparedtomyKlimgear.

ThebigchangeisthattheGore-Texjacket

linerdoesn’tzipin.

It’sastandaloneitemthatcanbe

worninsideoroverthejacket.Inthe

rainIwouldwearitoverthejacketto

stopitgettingwaterloggedandheavy,

brilliantidea.Thepantslinerisstillof

thezip-intype.

Iwasn’tafanofthebackpockets.My

three-litrehydrationbladderdidn’tquite

fitand,whenpartiallyfilledwithwater,

thejacketpulledonmyarmpitsandput

toomuchpressureonmythroat.Thetwo

bumpocketsstorethelinersandcould

havebeenalittlebiggertoo.Agusseton

eachpocketwouldsolvetheproblem.
