A CLOSER LOOK

GALEON 460 FLY

FUN PLATFORM
The railings
have to be put
in manually but
they improve
safety and look
classy. Leave
them off, and
the platforms are
great for dropping
into the sea.

SEAT IN THE SUN
This cosy bench is
sheltered by the
saloon but allows
you to sit and
enjoy the view.
The backrest
flips the other
way so you can
do the same thing
inside the saloon.

OUT BACK
Grills on the
transom aren’t
new but installing
it on a cassette
is a good way of
doing it. The hatch
to starboard of the
flip-down bench
grants access to
a vast storage void.

ENGINEROOM
Access to the engineroom is via a hatch
in the cockpit and a ladder that leads
down into a space between the engines.
Daily service items are easy to get to and
there’s space to get around all sides of
both engines. The generator is installed
aft, keeping it away from the master cabin
and keeping noise to a minimum.

The stylish sink
and accessories
add class in the
master ensuite

The glazing overhead
in the VIP makes a
difference in daylight

The bed sits low in
the hull, maximising
headroom
