Built in 1933 by Camper & Nicholson of Gosport, England to Lloyds 100A1
specification. Launched as SAHARET, named after Clarissa Campbell,
the Edwardian dancer.
Keel-up restoration in 1985/86, further major refits in 1998 and 2013/14.
Teak hull on oak and steel frames, bronze fastened. Full lead keel.
New swept teak deck 1998. Solid teak deck saloon,
skylights and brightwork. Original and period deck hardware.
New ketch rig to original design sets 3,760 sq.ft. Extensive sail wardrobe.
270hp MAN Diesel Engine (new 2014).
Recent electronics and systems. Fine teak panelled and fitted interior,
air conditioned, offering three double ensuite cabins,
two ensuite crew cabins – in total twelve berths.
