Portraits
Over 200 portraits go on show at the
annual exhibition of the Royal Society
of Portrait Painters, at the Mall
Galleries in London from 4 to 19 May.
Work will include portraits by member
artists as well as those selected from
open submission, resulting in an
exhibition that celebrates the diversity
of the genre, full of surprises and lots
of familiar faces. The exhibition will be
accompanied by a number of
demonstrations that take place in the
