Brush up your painting skills with a two-day

course for two people at Newlyn School of Art

near Penzance, Cornwall. This dynamic art

school is set in the heart of the famous artistic

colony of Newlyn and offers more than 12

outdoor painting courses, all taught on the

dramatic surrounding coastline of West

Cornwall by a team of tutors made up of the

most respected artists in the area.

We’ve teamed up with Newlyn School of Art,

boutique hotel the Artist Residence and

restaurant the Tolcarne Inn to bring you a

wonderful, luxury learning experience. As you

improve your skills at the Cornish painting

school, you can stay for two nights at a

boutique hotel set in a Georgian house in

Penzance’s historic old quarter. Each room is

devoted to a love of art and it’s just a short

hop to the school. When you’ve worked up an

appetite, enjoy a three-course meal for two at

chef Ben Tunnicliffe’s Michelin Bib Gourmand

restaurant Tolcarne Inn in Newlyn, which

specialises in fare inspired by local seafood.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS

The winner can choose a two-day course for

two or a four-day course for one to a value of

£380. Alternatively the equivalent credit can

be used towards other art courses at Newlyn

School of Art only. The Artist Residence stay

is for two nights to be taken between

September 2017 and May 2018, excluding

school and public holidays. The meal for two

at Tolcarne Inn excludes alcohol. All elements

subject to availability, transport not included.
