7You can have more than one phone linked to your
computer, which is handy if you share a PC or switch
between multiple devices. To do this, click the Settings
icon^1 , followed by My Devices^2 , then ‘Link new device’^3. Yo u
can also connect more than one PC to your phone. Open the
‘Link to Windows’ app, tap the Settings cog, then tap ‘Linked
computers’. Tap ‘Add Computer’. There are other settings worth
exploring on both devices, so go through them when you have
some spare time. For example, in Windows, click the Features
tab to choose which phone apps you receive notifications from.STEP
6If you have a microphone you can make and answer
calls via Phone Link. Click the Calls tab^1 to see a list of
your recent calls^2. To return a call, click it in the list
and click the phone icon^3. You can also click the message icon
(^4) to send that contact a text message. To call a contact you
haven’t spoken to recently, start typing their name into the
‘Search your contacts’ box^5 and a list of contacts will appear
for you to choose from. If you know the number of the person
you’re calling you can also enter their number using the
number pad^6. Click the call button^7 to launch the call.

Phone Link makes it easy to access your phone’s
collection of photos on your PC. Click the Photos tab^1
to view all the pictures on your smartphone and scroll
down until you find the one you want. Click one to open it for a
closer view^2. At the top you’ll see buttons that let you open the
image in the Windows Photos app^3 , copy it to your clipboard^4 ,
save it^5 or share it with another person or app^6. You can also
Delete it from your phone^7. At the top right there’s also the
option to open the image in the app of your choice^8.

Writing a text message is much easier with your
computer keyboard than it is on your phone. Click the
Messages tab^1 to see all your messages below^2. Click
one and the conversation will open on the right-hand side.
You can add a new message by typing it in the ‘Send a message’
box^3 , where there are also options to send emojis, animations
and images^4. You can call a contact by clicking the phone
icon^5 , which will show a dropdown arrow if the contact has
more than one phone number. To send a message to a different
or new contact, click the ‘New message’ button^6.
