The House That Lazzara Built
When I drove up to the Bertram
property I immediately recognized the
Italian-styled ristorante facade attached
to one of the buildings. is is where I’d
entered in 2003 when I came to write
up Lazzara Marine Corporation’s
(LMC) new 106 (32.3m) motoryacht
for Showboats International magazine.
As recounted in “Lazzara & Sons,” PBB

LMC went down in the 2008 Great
Recession. Brothers Brad and Richard
(Dick) Lazzara lost the property and
