On the cover: Pete Hayes, a technician at the new Bertram production plant

in Tampa, Florida, laminates a  ybridge “wing” mold for one of two newly

designed Bertram models that are now being marketed under the iconic name.

Italian industrial conglomerate Gavio Group acquired the company from

Ferretti in March 2015 and has committed to reviving it and updating its boats.
