This issue’s cover photo is by Julio Villa, of Julio Villa Photography. Julio is based out

of Long Beach, California, and has a background in graphic design and Web develop-

ment. He started out in photography in 2010 as a hobby but quickly became obsessed

with the use of light, image retouching, and compositing. He’s now in the process of

making photography his full-time gig. He enjoys shooting and creating art that depicts

his Mexican American culture and the Harbor Area of Los Angeles of where he grew up.
