PATRICK F. MCGUIRE
The sculptures are McGuire’s poetic reflections
of a moment in time.
Patrick F. McGuire was a professor of sculp-
ture at Morgan State University for over 40 years.
He received his Bachelor’s degree from the Minne-
apolis College of Art and Design and his Master’s
degree from the Rinehart School of Sculpture at
the Maryland Institute College of Art. McGuire’s
commissioned works, which have been housed
on various sites throughout Maryland and Virgin-
ia, are three-dimensional solutions in a variety of
materials including wood, stone, welded steel and
bronze. His work is part of museum and private
collections.
