EDITOR’S LETTER

I

t’s funny, sometimes I wish artists would just stop

creating new works, if even for a second! Imagine how

hard it is every single month trying to limit what art goes

into the magazine! Every day we hear about a new artist, a

new show, someone else creating beautiful and intriguing

work that I want to add to the magazine that month! When

we started the magazine, people kept asking us how we

were going to find so much content to fill a monthly

magazine. But now, it’s the opposite. It’s truly hard to know

when to stop.

And that, art lovers, is the hardest part of this job—

knowing what to include and what to leave out every month.

So, when we do decide to preview an art exhibition at a

gallery anywhere in this country, those are the ones that

have made the cut, their work stands out above all else and

that we have decided are worthy to cover for that issue.

As I’ve said before, we do the work so collectors don’t

have to. We go out each month and handpick the 20 best

art shows happening at top galleries across the country so

the art collectors who subscribe to this magazine will know

where to turn when acquiring works for their collections.

And, as you know, when we cover a show, when we include

images from the show on the pages of the magazine,

everything is available, fresh o‚ the easel and waiting to

be snatched up by eager collectors.

And that is our promise to you, the high standard we

set, the theme of excellence we create this magazine by

each month.
