The frequent appearance of power lines in the works
of Zach Christopher is another highly successful
element which is implemented as they greatly
enhance the organization of his landscapes. Whether
straight or curved, one should not interpret them
mainly as objects but rather as a part of the
highlighted background canvas of the sky.
Considering the building depicted, it is imperative that
they can be interpreted diversely. Remarkably they
can be both original figurative elements contrasting
the abstraction, of the sky, also seen as patterns that
enrich the picture instead. Both approaches creating
their own statement and are highly subtle in the way
that they are implemented, as they complement the
sky instead of being mere intruders, thus creating a
visually pleasing final result.


In his series "Noucentisme" background and the
general concept of landscape is non-existent, this time
focusing on the human body instead. This set of
artworks are conceptually connected to the Catalan
"Noucentisme," an artistic movement of the early 20th
century that propagated different ideas to the avant-
garde of the era. As per the artist remarks:
