About the business and role -
Marine Electronics NZ have full time positions available for both experienced
230 Volt, DC Electricians and Marine Engineers (with DC electrical experience).
A background in Marine isn’t necessarily required. We are looking for qualified and
experienced electricians or Marine Engineers with a good understanding of DC
electrical wiring. A solid background and a keen positive attitude are key.
You may be an experienced auto sparky or a commercial 230 volt sparky with a
keen interest in boating and fishing looking for a new challenge in an industry you
are passionate about and that has a very positive future.
The successful applicant in this exciting and growing industry will be well
presented, have a full NZ license and a keen interest in the marine industry.
A high level of verbal & written English communication skills are essential.
You will be able to operate with a high level of autonomy which in turn requires
time management skills & trustworthiness.
You will have a great work ethic, be self-motivated and keen to learn new
technologies and develop new skills.
Company vehicle, cell phone and uniform are supplied.
Very competitive wage and package details being ofered are reflective of the
applicant’s level of skill and experience.
It can be a demanding industry,our clients have high expectations so you
will need to cope well under pressure.
This position is based in Westhaven, Auckland; however we ofer an on-site service
to our clients so you will be working at all Auckland City Marinas, Boat parks, etc.
