Hauraki Fenders’ Rectangular Inflatable Fenders are the
right choice for transoms and angled surfaces where
cylindrical fenders won’t stay in place. They are also
ideal if additional contact area is required, or whenever
geometrical shapes preclude using cylindrical fenders.
Suitable for craft of all shapes, from 9m to 30m+, the
fenders measure 1000 x 600 x 200mm inflated.
Constructed from light-grey PVC fabric
incorporating drop-stitch technology (used in inflatable
paddleboards), they have heavy-duty black PVC
around the perimeter. The seams are heat welded with
doubler tapes for a strong, high-quality joint. Each fender
has four reinforced stainless-steel D-ring attachment
points, two on each long side.
Easily inflated using a hand-operated or electric pump,
they deflate and roll up for storage.

a new generation of G8 float-free
Emergency Position Indicating
Radio Beacon (EPIRB).
McMurdo developed the G8 range
alongside MEOSAR to achieve
the fastest and the most accurate
solution for NZ mariners.
Float-free EPIRBs are supplied inside
an auto-housing and
deploy automatically when in
contact with water (they can also be
manually activated).
McMurdo is also ofering a combined
EPIRB and AIS unit, a world-first, that
will maximise the chance for a quick
rescue by alerting
any AIS-receiving vessel in the area,
as well as the Rescue Coordination
Centre in Wellington.
All commercial fishing vessels over
7.5m operating outside enclosed
waters must carry an automatically
deployed or ‘Auto Float Free’
EPIRB (SOLAS Category 1)
from 1 January 2019.

choice of four precision optics
