Background: Dim down the background layer by
creating a new layer between the background

it to Multiply and lower the Opacity if you want
the background details to remain visible

Replace Color: Hide the background
layer(s) then hit Cmd/Ctrl+Shift+Alt/
Opt+E to create a stamped version of the

to Image>Adjustments>Replace Color
and replace the purple tone with a vivid
red. Use masks to blend it in

Hue Shift: Alternatively, create a Hue/Saturation
adjustment layer and use the sliders to change
the Hue, Saturation and Lightness. You can do
this to the whole image using Master or to
individual colours (reds, yellows, greens, cyans,
blues and magentas). Use masks to blend it in

Color Balance: Stamp your typography layer
then go to Image>Adjustments>Color Balance
and use the sliders (Cyan/Red, Magenta/Green
and Yellow/Blue) to shift huues and tones in
Shadows, Midtones and Highlights

LUTs: Colour Look Up Tables are a
quick and easy way to change the
