Constantly tying fenders to cleats and rails is a tedious chore
for many boaters. Quick release hardware from Accon Marine
does away with repetitive knot tying and literally makes
hanging fenders a snap.
Crafted from 316 stainless steel for good looks
and enhanced durability, Accon Marine
Fender Hangers come in two sizes,
using a 12.7mm or 25.4mm attachment
ring to accommodate various types
of lines. Both use a low-profile surface
mount that fastens with two #10 stainless
steel screws, with no cut-outs required.
The user simply knots or splices the steel ring
to the fender line once, and snaps it into the
base to deploy the fender. Depressing a small
button on the base enables the ring to pull free,
leaving it permanently attached to the line and fender,
ready for future use. Apart from eliminating the need to
constantly tie and untie lines, the quick release hangers
ensure that fenders are always set at the correct height.
