Few but good ones or rather, excellent ones

steel hull and aluminium alloy superstructure designed by British
Winch Design studio features a luxury spa which connects di-
rectly with a large beach area.
It wouldn’t be at all fair to say that Overmarine’s Mangusta 165E
“Black Legend” was noticed purely for its undisputedly dark
appearance, because what really makes it stand out is the su-
per-offshore thoroughbred lines it sports while there’s plenty of
muscle ‘under the bonnet’: four MTU 2,600 HP engines which
coupled with as many Rolls Royce Kamewa Water-jets easily
push this yacht to more than 35 knots.
Monte Carlo Yachts’s new entry the MCY 96 stood out from
the chorus line thanks to the fact it can be registered in Italy as
either a ship or leisure yacht. In either case it comes with an EC
Class “A” meaning no limits as to where it can sail. Its unobtru-
sive fly deck nevertheless sports a surface area of more than 60
square metres which is a record for its segment.
As announced in 2014 by Leonardo Ferragamo Nautor’s owner, the

yacht’s name is “Lot99”. Designed by German Frers it sports twin
rudder blades, and retractable keel. The hull is built entirely with car-

Custom Line’s four decker new Navetta 33,is equipped with a
patented double action system by which to open and close the
stern garage which doubles as a remarkably large beach club at
the water’s edge. The hull’s shape and bow bulb ensure great on
board comfort. The interiors thanks to large original window like
ports are bright with natural light.
Dynamiq shipyards exhibited the latest original new entry a GTT

Heesen Yachts from Holland presented “Home” a wonderful hy-
brid 50 metre which relies on remarkable hydrodynamic, wave
piercing efficiency. Built entirely in aluminium alloy with appealing
original interiors by Cristiano Gatto.

Ice yachts shipyard from Turkey presented a detailed video of
”Days” a 68 metre explorer model which was completing con-
struction in the course of the MYS. Delivery has been envisaged
for mid 2018. Project design work featuring large volumes was
carried out by Italian HotLab design studio.
Eleventh unit of the series for Isa a Sport 120 but the first af-
ter Gruppo Palumbo’s acquisition of the shipyard, the 37 metre
“Clorinda” boasts three engines which best express its own-
er’s true passion. Three MTU 16V M96 engines each developing
2.433 HP coupled with a pair of 71S3 Waterjets and a 56B3
Rolls Royce Kamewa booster deliver a top speed of 34 knots
Among some of the greats exhibited at this latest 2017 MYS:
