As part of our Classic Boat Awards, we have once again joined forces
with the Gstaad Yacht Club for the Centenarian of the Year Trophy.
The winner will be announced at our awards ceremony in April in
London, after having been selected by an international jury of
experts. Here is the shortlist of candidates.

Gstaad YC was formed in 1998 by a group of sailors with the vision to “create a unique global yacht club away from
water, instead of another local club by the water”. Based in the Swiss mountains, it was initially met with surprise,
but the GYC has developed into a club with 400 members from more than 20 countries. The GYC supports sailing
projects at all levels from juniors to professional and has become a solid force on the Swiss sailing scene, especially
in Olympic and classic sailing.
