It takes real courage to produce so-

the boutique yard placed its design
in the hands of Exclusiva Design,
a premier Italian public and private
architecture studio with absolutely
no connection to the superyacht
world. That courage has been re-
paid, however, with a genuinely
radical yacht code named Progetto
Bolide. Tankoa’s brief was for a ra-
dical Futurist-inspired craft that
would still retain the bespoke qua-
lity for which it is renowned. A year
of R&D later, Progetto Bolide has
already passed all its feasibility te-
sts. It is underpinned by three key
concepts: the seamless melding of
extensive glazing with the steel hull,
absolutely functional yet exceptio-
nally comfortable interiors, and se-
amless interaction between interior
and exterior. The result is an im-
