A previously repainted Bristol 403 with patinated interior had come to

auction from the Irish Republic to make £42,120 and the same money,

more than double the lower estimate fi gure, was available for a 1960 MkI

Austin-Healey 3000 ‘running project’ on Webers with its hard-top and many

panels in aluminum, but without documents.

Most impressively, after another well attended drive-through, during

which 94 per cent of the 69 vehicle entry sold and only four cars failed to

attract buyers, 64 cars and a Rickman Metisse motorcycle had sold for

£446,128 with premium.
