1982 LANCIA BETA
It’s not everyday a photo of a Lancia Beta pops up in our inbox at CCM so Mark Wastnidge’s email caught our attention.
The blue Lancia Beta saloon is a rare series 3 example which gained the front end, interior and dash as the Trevi saloon. and when
we say rare, Mark points out that just two RHD examples are known to exist, of which this is the only example currently on the road.
Imported as a 1600, the Beta has since received a 2000IE engine together with a Volumex gearbox for increased performance.
The Beta is joined by a Trevi, similarly rare and essentially a Beta with a boot. Mark tells us the car was resprayed about 10 years
ago and he’s currently doing a few minor jobs for the MoT. Watch this space!

MINI 25
Advertised online at the time
of writing is this potentially
unique example of the Mini
25, the limited-edition model
launched in 1984 to celebrate
the evergreen Mini’s 25th
anniversary. Every Mini 25 was
finished in metallic silver and
featured grey velour seats with
red piping, plus unique trim
both inside and out. In the end,
just 3511 Mini 25s were built
for the UK market.
Any Mini 25 is a fairly rare
machine these days, but what
makes this one so unusual?
Amazingly, it has never been
registered and its odometer
has a mere 73 miles recorded
from new. It’s described by its
vendor as being in the same
condition as when it left the
factory 32 years ago. And the
asking price? A cool £19,750.
