1963 SUNBEAM ALPINE
Featured in our sister title Classics Monthly, this Sunbeam Alpine must be one of the best in existence. Owner Tom Goldsmith originally
bought it as a rolling restoration but once he got stuck into what he thought would be a quick tidy-up realised that a full restoration was the
way to go. An engineer by trade and with a long family history of Alpine ownership, Tom and his father set to work with the aim of creating a
perfect restoration... and when the completed car won best in class, member’s choice and best overall at the club national meet last summer
they knew they’d got it right. The fi nishing touch was a matching pedal car, hand fabricated on a Tri-Ang chassis and sprayed to match.
