3 TSANG KIN-WAH
Known for his iconic, text-based works in painting and moving
image, Tsang was born in Shantou, Guangdong Province,
on the mainland, in 1976 and moved to Hong Kong at a young
age. After graduating from the i ne art department at the Chinese
U n i v e r s i t y o f H o n g K o n g , h e r e c e i v e d a m a s t e r ’ s d e g r e e a t
the Camberwell College of Arts, part of the London Institute. In
2015 Tsang’s solo show “The Ini nite Nothing” represented
Hong Kong at the Venice Biennale. He shows with Pearl Lam

Lee was trained as a painter
in the i ne art department
at the Chinese University
of Hong Kong, but he
currently pursues a mixed-
media practice aimed at
intertwining art and daily life.
After winning the Art Futures
award at Art HK 2012, Lee
was selected to represent
his home city at the 2013
Venice Biennale with
the exhibition “You (you),” the
i rst Venice show curated

Things That Can Happen,
in the Sham Shui Po district.
He has shown on the
mainland at Aike-Dellarco
in Shanghai and Beijing’s
Vitamin Creative Space and
overseas at ShugoArts in
Tokyo and Lombard Freid in
New York, where he is now
repre sented by Jane
Lombard Gallery. 1 , 2014,
installed for “How are things
on the West Coast?” at
Lombard Freid in spring 2014.

Leung studied the culture of
photography at Centro di
Ricerca e Archiviazione della
Fotograi a in Italy in 1991
and received an MFA from
the Chinese University of
H o n g K o n g i n 1 9 9 7. H e
inaugurated the Mills Gallery
in the city, is a cofounder of
Hong Kong’s nonprofit Para
Site space, and is currently
an assistant professor in
the School of Creative Media
at City University of Hong
Kong. Leung has exhibited
internationally, and since
2015 has been repre-
sented by Hong Kong’s
Blindspot Gallery. Untitled
