BLEND THE
LAYER
Choose the Multiply
blend mode from the
Layers panel. (You
could also try Darken for
similar results.) Click the
Add Layer Mask icon,
then grab the Brush
Tool and set its colour
to black. Paint to tidy
the edges and create
a smooth transition at
the base of the tree.

COPY IN
THE TREE
Draw a rough selection
around the tree. Grab
the Move Tool and
check Show Transform
Controls and Auto-Select
Layer. Drag the tree
to the tab of the other
image, then down to
copy it as a new layer.
Click the bounding box
and drag the corners to
resize and position it.01
REMOVE THE
BULB ELEMENT
Open bulb01.jpg from
the start iles, then
create a new layer. Grab
the Spot Healing Brush
from the Tools panel,
check Sample All Layers
at the top, then paint
over the rods in the bulb
to remove them. Next,
open bulb02.jpg
and grab the Lasso Tool
from the Tools panel.
