SELECT THE
LIGHTS
We’ve supplied a range of
images of long-exposure
fairground rides for you
to build up the efect.
Look through them and
ind one that roughly
matches part of your
igure. Open it up then
grab the Lasso Tool from
the Tools panel. Drag a
rough selection around
the area.

LOWER THE
OPACITY
Click Create New Layer in
the Layers panel, then go
to Edit>Fill, choose Use:
Black and click OK. Drag
the layer with your igure
above the black layer,
then lower its Opacity to
about 25% to blend it in.
If it’s a light sketch, press
Cmd/Ctrl+I to invert it to
white lines on black so it’s
easier to make out.

SKETCH
Begin by sketching out
a shape for your project.
You can draw a freehand
sketch, or use any
other image as a base.
Open a new Photoshop
document, then open
your image, press Cmd/
Ctrl+A to select all, Cmd/
Ctrl+C to copy, and Cmd/
Ctrl+V to paste it in.
Resize with Cmd/Ctrl+T.
