THE ‘SHARE PSDS WITH ANYONE’ TRICK

With a Creative Cloud

account, you can share

PSDs so that anyone

can view the layers –

even if they don’t

have Photoshop...

01

SAVE A PSD
First prepare your PSD
ile. If, for example, you’re
planning on sending the
layered image to a client, it’s
a good idea to rename the
layers properly and keep
everything tidy. Once done,
go to File>Save As and save
as a PSD in your Creative
Cloud folder.

02

SHARE ONLINE
Once the ile has
synced, open the Creative
Cloud App, go to the Assets
tab, click Files, then View On
Web. Navigate to the ile in
your web browser, then click
Share. If you’d rather the
recipient didn’t download the
ile, disable the download
option in Advanced Sharing.

03

VIEW LAYERED FILE
The recipient of the
link will be able to view the
layered PSD in their own web
browser by clicking the link
you send, and they can turn
layer visibility on or of to try
out diferent versions of the
image using the layers tab on
the web page. It’s a great way
to admire your hard work!
