preferences to the
places, which are
naturally rich in flaura
and fauna. In the
beginning, I captured
photographs of my
liking. But later on, I
became comfortable
with landscape
photography. I could
think quietly, observe
the place and make
my own compositions.
I did not have to wait
for things to happen.
The only thing I have
to depend on is the
weather, and if it is
good, I am sure I can
capture good pictures.

A landscape
photographer
has to be an avid
traveller. How do
you make plans for
backpacking?
Before going on a trip,
I gather information
from the internet
about the place,
sometimes from
known connections,
reading blogs and
reviews of others,
who have visited the
place. I make a rough
schedule as to when
and where I will shoot
during my touring
days. I make good use
of the new informative
mobile applications
like Google Map and
Google Earth, Sky
View, the weather app
for sunrise, sunset
and so on. I always
prefer to go to those
places which are less
crowded but possess
maximum shooting
opportunities. I
generally plan a tour
well in advance.
Before a tour, I have
to keep a few things
in mind such as the
