Digitally painting your 2D characters into a 3D base
environment can have great results when done correctly.
When you export your 3D environment into Photoshop, you
now need to paint your 2D characters into the scene. You
first need to add your perspective guidelines so your characters match the
background. These perspective guidelines will help you pose your characters
correctly especially when dealing with dynamic and awkward camera angles.
