PERFECT BITE
DATES & BLUE CHEESE
Next time you’re hosting a few friends,
make some magic: Put out a plate of these simple
hors d’oeuvres—at once salty and sweet,
creamy and crunchy—and watch them disappear.
Cut a slit into dates and remove the pits
(if necessary), then stuff each with a semifirm blue
cheese (we like Gorgonzola piccante and
Spanish Valdeón). Finish with a sprinkle of toasted
sliced almonds and a drizzle of honey.
