I begin to outline the painting itself so that everything
takes shape and colour.
The zig-zag shape formed by the winding road and trees
helps to create the perspective effect.
I mark accents with Ultramarine Blue and Red Bordeau x
and paint the cypresses with Dark Yellow and Payne's Grey.
I paint the cypresses with a large brush (number 16)
because I do not want to pay attention to detail yet.
