BOYS & GIRLS CLUBS

RENDEZVOUS

Y

a chts International was proud to be the official media partner of the
30th Annual Boys & Girls Clubs Rendezvous, held at the Fisher Island
Club and at the Mandarin Oriental, in Miami, this past November.
Founded by Rita and Rick Case, the annual charity event is the larg-
est social superyacht gathering for charity in the world, raising more
than $30 million to date for the Boys & Girls Clubs of Broward County and the
12,500 at-risk youth the clubs serve. The weekend culminated with an“Under the
Sea” formal gala, which featured a live performance by American pop singer, song-
writer, dancer and Boys & Girls Clubs of Broward County alumnus Jason Derulo.
Long before he recorded his hit single “Whatcha Say,” and years before he became
a judge on the television show “So You Think You Can Dance,” and well before he
appeared on the cover of Billboard magazine, Derulo recorded his first CD thanks
to the help of the Boys & Girls Clubs of Broward County.
