tauqua Annual exhibition is selected
by co-jurors Jennifer Samet and Steven
Harvey, co-Directors of Steven Harvey
Fine Arts Projects in New York City. Ste-
ven Harvey has worked as an art advisor,
art dealer, curator, and writer for over 25
years. The gallery’s intimate exhibitions
have been consistently powerful and
beautifully reviewed. Jennifer Samet is
also the author of the popular column
“Beer with a Painter” which appears in
Hyperallergic Weekend Edition. She has
published extensively on contemporary
and post-war painting in Master Draw-
ings, ArtNet Magazine, Artcritical, New
York Sun, and others. Especially inter-
ested in the voice of the artist, she has
lectured at numerous universities on the
subject of “The Role of Empathy in Art”,
and she has also curated several major
historical exhibitions. Awards: Monetary
awards will be presented by the jurors
on exhibition opening day, June 26,
