ABOVE CLOCKWISE FROM TOP LEFT The
Surtees 850 Game Fisher dominated in
testing through the year with a near-perfect
score and at AGB ’16, came within a whisker
of taking top spot; The TABS 5000 was a
sentimental favourite thanks to a quiet ride
and plenty of fishing space; Bar Crusher’s

490 was a standout for value for money and
still is; Anglapro’s Predator 16 ticked a lot of
boxes especially for outright speed thanks
to the grunt of a ProXS Mercury.
OPPOSITE BOTTOM L-R The Arvor 690D
showed the crowd what efficiency was all

about thanks to its miserly diesel; Northbank
dragged the impressive 750 HT complete
with D4 VolvoPenta all the way from SA and
nearly won us over with power, efficiency
and great looks; The Robalo Cayman 206
handled everything thrown at it; Judges’
favourite, the Scout 195 Sportfish.
