Built and fitted out by Orchard Marina & Boat Builders, this modern cruiser-style

narrowboat built by Orchard is powered by a Canaline 38hp with a PRM 120

mechanical gearbox. It has a Webasto Thermotop Diesel Central Heating and hot

water is supplied by the engine, central heating and immersion via a calorifier.

The interior is fitted in oak using predominantly veneered panelling and

accompanying hardwood trim. Equipped with granite worktops the galley has a

Stoves Newhome 500 Dis-T and an LEC Inlander fridge. The boat is also equipped

with a Candy Aquamatic washing machine. Fitted with a fixed double berth (which

extends for extra width) and a breakfast bar, the two-year-old Foxy Lady is ideal for

two with the option to keep or remove the sofa bed currently in the living area.

This trad-style four-berth narrowboat comprises a Timothy Tyler hull with fitout by

Louis and Joshua. It is driven by Beta 38hp diesel and has an Aquafax bow thruster

fitted. The high quality interior is based on crown-cut oak veneered ply to sides and

gunwhales. The boat has a gold fleur de lys carpet throughout. Radiators are

powered by diesel fired central heating. The saloon has a bubble multi-fuel stove in

a tiled surround. Plus there are two recliner chairs with matching footstools.

The walkthrough galley has a Stoves 500 DIT cream gas oven and hob plus a 12V

Shoreline fridge. It benefits from a skylight in the roof. The Pullman style dinette with

a demountable table that converts to a double bed.

Bailedout is designed for comfort, the internal layout providing space – including

above normal headroom – for practical living. Built by Jonathan Wilson and fitted out

by Topnotch, the boat is finished in solid oak panelling throughout. Power comes

from a Barrus Shire with a Newage PRM 150 gearbox.

The boat is heated by Eberspacher Hydronic D4W diesel central heating plus a

woodburner. The bow is fitted with cratch frame and cover with window panels.

Entering through the bow doors is an open plan saloon/galley which is currently

fitted with loose furniture. There is an opening side hatch proving light and

ventilation. Equipment includes a New World gas stove and Shoreline Larder fridge.

To the list of well known boat builders add Jade Fabrications, the company behind

Daydreamer, whose shell maximises the internal space. One clever feature is the

way they have recessed the engine compartment under the aft bulkhead.

The first owner then went on to fit her out, creating larger than normal individual

cabins with four berths provided in a reverse layout and with doors separating the

two sleeping compartments either side of the shower room. The present owner

has upgraded the heating system with the use of a compact diesel fired boiler.

It is driven by a 38hp four-cylinder Kubota V1902 diesel with a MA 100
