Portable Manfrotto lighting stand
Manfrotto has released the Nano Plus lighting stand, which it
claims is its strongest ever. It extends to 197cm but folds down to
52cm, meaning it should slide into the tripod pouch on most
camera bags, and features a levelling leg for tricky environments.
It is available now for £79.95. See http://www.manfrotto.co.uk.

Hipstamatic returns and is even more retro
Remember Hipstamatic, the image-editing app for smartphones
featuring retro effects? Although it was soon overshadowed by
Instagram, the free app has relaunched as Hipstamatic X (Apple iOS
only). ‘We’ve made it more retro, more analog, and less social than
ever! Kind of the opposite of everything that Apple and Google are
doing...’ say the founders. See analogfeelsgood.com.
