SEisa superbheadset.

Itsall-aluminiumconstructionmeanstheheadsetfeels

extremelysolidwithoutbeingheavy,andtheheadbandoffers

a reasonableamountofpaddingandflextoo.Wedidgeta hint

ofpressureonourheadsafterprolongeduse,though,anda

littlemorepaddingontheheadbandwouldhelp.However,

there’sa goodamountofpressurefromtheearcups

tobothsealinsoundandpreventleakage.Battery

lifeis goodforupto 20 hours,andit’sboosted,

thankstoanaccelerometerthatautomatically

switchesofftheheadsetwhenit’snotin use.

BoththeRGBlightingand7.1surroundsound

areconfigurableinCorsair’siCUE,buttheformer

is restrainedandonlyappearsinsmallCorsair

logosontheearcups.Themicrophoneitselfis

detachable,whichisn’tparticularlyconvenient

comparedtopull-outorflip-downdesigns,

butthebuildqualityandaudioareexcellent,

witha bevelledaluminiummouthpieceanda

anwhile,thecircumaural

earcupsarewellpaddedand

availableforunder£150incVAT,butthe

VirtuosoRGBWirelessSEsetsitself

apartwithexceptionalsoundandbuild

foryoutostomach,thestandardmodel

sportsotherwisesimilarhardwarefor

noticeablylessmoneyat£150incVAT.
