keyboardline-up.TheMXKeysis a slim,wireless

keyboardwitha premiumlookandfeelandseveraluseful

extrafeaturesthat,liketheMaster3,potentiallymakeit an

idealdesktopworktool.

If you’refamiliarwithLogitech’sotherkeyboards,you

mightrecognisethattheMXKeysis essentiallya cut-down

versionoftheLogitechCraft.Thatkeyboardincorporatesa

dialinitstopleftcorner,thatcanbeusedtocontrolallsortsof

features,inthesamewaythata scrollwheelcanbeusedto

zoominandoutormovearound.WiththeMXKeys,youmiss

outonthisdial.

Whatyoudon’tmissouton,though,is theslickdesign.

Thissurprisinglyheavy,metal-cladkeyboardis incredibly

thinandusesa verysimple,mutedgreyandblack

colourscheme.It alsohaslotsofroundedcorners,

makingfora keyboardthatfeelsaboutasfarfrom

theaggressivestylingofa gamingkeyboardasyou

canget.

Thebuildqualityis alsoexcellent.Thesteel

framearoundthekeyslendsthewholeunita level

ofrigiditythatyouwouldn’texpectforsucha thin

keyboard.Meanwhile,eventhebriefesttapofthe

keysrevealsthequalityofthescissor-switches

below.Likewise,thefinefontusedonthekeycaps

is crispandsharp,withevenandstrong

backlightingthroughout.

Youdon’tgetthatmuchinthewayofphysical

featuresthough.There’sa USBType-Cportonthe

back,alongsidethepowerswitch,andyougeta

handfulofextrakeys,butthat’syourlot,otherthan

theoptionalwristrest.Notably,alongwiththeMX

Master3,youdon’tgetremovablebatterieseither,

whichdoesputaninherenttimelimitonthe

wirelessusabilityofthekeyboard.

Youcanconnectthekeyboardeithervia its wireless

dongle,directlyviaa cableoroverBluetooth. You can also

pairit withuptothreedevices,thenusethe dedicated pairing

buttonstoswitchbetweeneachdeviceon the fly. Using

Logitech’sFlowsoftware,youcanalsotransfer data

betweendevices.Meanwhile,a hostofmultimedia buttons

makesit easytoquicklychangesettings, with options such

asscreenbrightnessevenincludedforwhen the keyboard is

pairedwitha laptoportablet.

Thetypingexperienceis greataswell.The keyboard feels

solidandstable,whilethekeysmaintaina crisp and responsive

action,alongwitha pleasantlyquietandlight feel. It takes a little

whiletogetusedtotheveryflatstyleofkeys (even compared

witha laptopkeyboard)aftersomanyyears of using more

conventionalkeyboards,butyoudogetthe hang of it.

TheMXKeysis a great-quality,slim

andwirelesskeyboardthat’sidealfor

peoplewhowanta compact,stylish

keyboardforusewithseveraldevices

atonce.Itsabilitytoquick-switch

betweenpaireddevicesis particularly

useful.However,it isn’toverlypacked

withfeaturesandis decidedly

expensive.Youcancertainlygeta

bettercoretypingexperienceforless

money,buttheMXKeysis stilla great-

qualitywirelesskeyboard.
