The Lion King (2019)
In the African savanna, a new lion cub,
Simba (Donald Glover), is born as the heir
to an animal kingdom. Simba looks up to
his father, Mufasa (James Earl Jones), the
reigning king of the Pride Lands. However,
Mufasa’s devious brother Scar (Chiwetel
Ejiofor) plots to eliminate Mufasa and Simba

action” film by the press, this movie is
actually itself also animated, albeit with
photorealistic, computer-generated visuals. - It is directed by Jon Favreau, who also

remake released in 2016. - The Lion King remake is 30 minutes longer
than the original, with Favreau inserting
elements of that film’s Broadway adaptation
