accompanied nearly every meal.

the rally party. Ladies share a laugh while
at work at a small restaurant. Marina
Hemingway is situated on four half-mile-
long canals, making a bike handy if you’re
docked near an end.
bottom row: Shopping is limited
in Cuba, but Che and Cuban fl ags are
easy to fi nd. Cuban musician Amaranto
Fernandez and his band provided some
of the best music we heard on the trip.
The food at Casa de Confi anza was
outstanding. Art is literally everywhere.
