Looking back on Planet Earth II

The scenes that got you talking...

REPTILE RACE IGUANA V SNAKES
The sight of a hatchling iguana taking its very first run along the sand, only
for a knot of racer snakes to emerge and attempt to eat it for breakfast, is
surely one of the tensest TV moments ever broadcast. A video clip of the
iguana’s narrow but triumphant escape went viral, with 15 million views.

Literally jumped
for joy for the baby
marine iguana
breaking free from
those snakes!
@thegooseyluce

Felt like a proud
mum when that
newborn iguana
escaped from all the
snakes #Planetearth2

MONKEY BUSINESS HUMANS CARING FOR LANGURS
Mischievous langurs engaged in nail-biting parkour action over the Jodhpur
rooftops – but far from being considered pests, they are treated with respect
and care. The closing scene of people feeding them fruit had many of you
blowing your noses and demanding better integration of wildlife in our cities.

Think the
@MayorofLondon
should introduce a
troop of langurs
onto the streets
of London
@shaqlockholmes

Those langurs just replicated the free
running scene from the start of Casino
Royale. Impressive. #Planetearth2
@MazzyK

Possibly the
greatest scene
in documentary
history. Incredible
@MrLukeJohnston

Watching humans feed
and care for the langurs
on #Planetearth2 and
I have tears in my eyes
over the beauty of it all.
So wonderful to see!
