(^) archaeologist, so I don’t read everything
published, just what I stumble upon or need for
my work. Another thing that’s quite astonishing
is that ‘forensic evidence’ can now be extracted
from finds, the smallest items giving even more
clues about ancient life.
But to be honest, the public awareness being
developed around our ancient history excites me
even more as an artist. For most people it’s
really hard to get some visual idea about the
past. So the possibility to use 3D reconstructions
to visualize ancient environments in (almost)
