$299. While these tools are excellent, and I understand that this is
a “bundle” that saves money over buying these tools individually,
I still feel that the pricing is a bit high. If I had to pick my favorite
feature, it would be the real-time playback thanks to the direct,
built-in Adobe Mercury Engine support. For that reason alone, this
will be a must-have upgrade for many digital video editors. nRGB Point Curves and the easy importation of
LUTs, this upgrade is a great addition for anyone
who wants to color correct from their timeline.
Denoiser III: With a completely re-written code,
the new Denoiser III with GPU acceleration and
near real-time performance will be a game changer
for anyone with noisy footage due to a low-quality
camera or less-than-ideal lighting. I was impressed
with how well it cleaned up iPhone camera record-
ings shot in dim lighting conditions.
Mojo II: The upgraded version of this tool has
several new features, such as exposure controls,
vignette, and temperature/tint sliders, that help
even novices achieve professional cinematic
color-grade results. Increasingly, a lot of users
apply this tool to improve overall skin tone of
their on-camera actors.
