MANTA 5 HYDROFOILER
Hailing itself as the ‘most unique and
intuitive’ cycling experience on water, Manta’s
foiling waterbike combines cutting-edge
hydrodynamics with sophisticated electronics.
A fit rider can get the bike planing under
muscle-power alone, but in performance
mode, the combination of legs and the 400W
motor can achieve speeds of 10 knots and
more. The bike is designed to float, and can
be restarted from the water. The wingspan of
the rear foil is a hefty 2m, but both foils can be
dismounted for storage and transport.
