EXTEX SOLAR FABRIC

Adding an extra dimension to its

well-known outdoor fabrics, British

manufacturer Extex has developed a

photoluminescent product that glows once

the sun goes down. It takes less than 30

minutes of sunlight to ‘charge’ the hi-tech

ink printed onto the fabric, for hours of

glowing once it gets dark. And the base

cloth is the same stain and water-repellent

fabric that Extex usually specs for exterior

upholstery. Available in three shades:

cream, beige and grey.
