ASKING PRICE FOR A 150FT ALUMINUM GERMÁN FRERS
DESIGNED SLOOP HULL BUILT BY DERECKTOR IN 2001
AND RECENTLY LISTED FOR SALE ON EBAY

Quietly working in Tacoma in
Washington, the Nordlund
Boat Company continues to
build custom boats for clients
who seem to have an aversion
to marina living. Once they
leave, the Nordlund boats
often stay away for months.
This custom 115ft expedition
yachtfisher by Nordlund is
getting ready to prove its might
later this year. It has ambitious
cruising plans, including a
maiden voyage to Nova Scotia.
It is a fishing platform and
long-range cruiser in one, with
an expected range of 3,000nm
at 13 to 14 knots. Along with
200-gallon bait tanks, a remote
steering station and a crow’s
nest are entertainment areas
and spacious cabins. The build
team included the owner’s
captain, naval architect Ed
Monk Jr, Tim Nolan Marine
Design and the Nordlund
craftsmen. nordlund.com
