Long Island 100

What’s the buzz? An

evolution of the Long

Island 85, the second

of which has just been

delivered, JFA’s first Long Island 100 is on hold, but will

feature a full beam master cabin on the bridge platform as

well as a modern interior by Franck Darnet. As with the 85,

naval architecture and exterior styling is by Marc Lombard.

VISMARA

In the sheds: V100B
What’s the buzz? At 100ft, the
V100B marks Vismara’s first foray
into superyacht territory.
Designed in close collaboration
with her owner, who is returning
to sailing after years of motor
yachts, she promises to be light
on the water and extremely
maneuverable.

A carbon composite
hull brings the V100B
in at just 68 tons

The new glossy
black Wally 93
is heading for
the Wally Class
racing circuit

WALLY

In the sheds: Wally 145, Wally 93
What’s the buzz? Like all Wallys, the two projects in build
merge next-generation style and performance. Hitting
the water this year, the Wally 93’s deck camouflages the
central social cockpit and the coamings to look flush, while
the company’s founder/president Luca Bassani calls the
dedicated owner’s cockpit on the 145 (due for launch in 2019)
a “world first”.

In the sheds: Dream Symphony, Princess Maria, Imagination
What’s the buzz? It has been a long time coming, but Dream Ship Victory is on track
to deliver its leviathan 462ft project Dream Symphony in 2019. When launched, it
will be the largest wooden sailing yacht in the world. Pocket-sized in comparison,
the 175ft Princess Maria – also completely wooden – will be launched later this year.
