2014, Check out this comfortably appointed family weekender and fishing package from

Stejcraft! The Monaco 640 fiberglass half cabin ticks all the boxes for the couple looking

for a quality package that has built in comforts for the occasional overnighter and

features conducive to a spot of fishing or a day’s social boating with family and friends.

Comfortable seating for 5 is provided & we love the way the rear seating converts/can be

removed/stores and makes for easy access to the transom area. The transom boarding

platforms have storage under, ideal for additional ground tackle or the snorkelling gear,

even dual stainless steel telescopic boarding ladders are fitted!

The boat is very well presented and having only recorded a low 91 hours use on the four

stroke Yamaha 115Hp EFI outboard, plenty of hours of use awaits the next fortunate

owner. Atop of the buyer’s bonuses of purchasing through JCM as outlined further, the

JCM workshop has also just completed the annual engine service offering further value.

The Yamaha pushes the rig comfortably and efficiently which is what these four strokes

are renowned for. Steering is made light and torque free with a quality Seastar hydraulic

steering system fitted and range is assured with approx. a 200l underfloor fuel tank and

spinning a stainless-steel prop.

Comforts are through the boat and storage abounds under the seats, down the side

pockets and in the cabin. The cabin has full sized bunks that are fitted with upholstered

cushions and hidden under is a chemical toilet. A freshwater tank is also installed, and

the transom neatly houses a retractable shower hose ideal for removing the salt after a

swim or a dive. A stove and lighting compliments an overnight sojourn and nothing beats

have a toastie and a coldie whilst watching the sun go below the horizon at anchor....

Boating at its best!

The helm is very comfortable and well equipped with an array of engine instrumentation,

a large colour screen Lowrance Elite 7HDi combo sounder / GPS unit, VHF radio for

communications and a very comfortable seat! Overhead quality sun covers have been

fitted along with clears and an extension cockpit awning.

The rig is trailered on a Dunbier GR5.7TM multi roller tandem axle trailer fitted with

mechanical over ride disc brakes and galvanised componentry. This quality locally built

trailer really does make trailering and launching/retrieving a simpler and safer affair.
