 N

ordhavn’s first n63 launched in 2010. Fifteen more
have splashed to date, all plying the seven seas. With a nearly
transatlantic range at 7 knots, the N63 is a vessel for those who
have a “second star to the right and straight on till morning”
spirit. Notable features: The N63 shares its full-displacement hull design
with the builder’s earlier 55- and 60-footers. Nordhavn says the N63 is an
aft-wheelhouse version of the 60, with an extended cockpit and boat deck.
Cruise speed: 8 to 9 knots. Belowdecks: The N63 comes with two or three
staterooms and two or three heads. Availability: At press time, three N63s
were for sale, ranging from $2.2 million for a 2013 to $2.8 million for a 2017.

FROM THE ARCHIVES

“The beating heart of the N63
is a 330 hp John Deere engine,
which, in the best Nordhavn tra-
dition, is keel-cooled to enable a
dry stack exhaust. With capacity
for nearly 2,500 gallons of fuel
among four tanks, she will have
a range of at least 3,000 miles at
7 knots.” —Yachting, March 2012
